All products Made in Japan are hand made and reflect effort and craftsmanship of japanese potters. At first sight this large plate looks like it is made from metal. It is because of the grey glace in the centre of the plate, which is in contrast with the shiny black rim. Transition between these two colours looks like it is created by little drops of paint dripping from the artists paintbrush onto the plates surface.
